Lula is upset by the arrest of the creator of WikiLeaks

LULA PROTEST • Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva expressed on Thursday his protest against the arrest of the creator of WikiLeaks site, Australian Julian Assange, and expressed his solidarity with the site that released thousands of secret documents of U.S. diplomacy.

BRASILIA, Brazil .— The president said during a ceremony in Brasilia:

"Wikileaks, my sympathy for the disclosure of things, and my protest (against the removal) of freedom of expression."
The President also said:
Assange "naked diplomacy that seemed unattainable, the more correct of the world. And began a pursuit (to arrest him). And he is arrested and I see neither a protest (for) freedom of expression. (...). First protest can be placed in the Planalto blog. "

Assange is detained in a British jail accused of alleged sexual offenses.

The WikiLeaks site began on 28 November the publication of 250,000 U.S. State Department confidential cables. .
