LA PAZ, Bolivia .— He showed "classified" documents into allegations of trafficking land since 2010.
Romero in a press conference at the Government Palace in the city of La Paz, said:
"The indigenous ownership right over his lands has been distorted.Some leaders have developed links to traffic illegally the land."
The Guarayos leaders gave lands to Cattlemen's Federation of Santa Cruz, Romero said. Moreover, he said, based on Authority of Forests and Lands Control, the Guarayo people extracted 1.2 million meters cubic of timber which generated an income of U.S. $ 2.12 million.
He said that the march just seeks cover up indigenous leaders who were involved in these events.
