How to get Achacachi?

Once you are in La Paz city you can take a minivan from Bustillos and Heroes del Pacifico Av, ending Mariano Baptista Av. The minivan stop is near Cementerio General of La Paz city. Callampaya zone.

Where Is Achacachi?

ACHACACHI city is in South America, Republic of Bolivia, Department of La Paz, Omasuyos County. It is the capital of the First Section of this county. The city has 7540 inhabitants. Achacachi means “Big point” it derives from two aymará words: “jach'a”, ‘big’ and “k'achi”, ‘point’. After de Spanish conquest, Achacachi was known as “Villa Lealtad de Caceres”, due to first landlord’s surname.
