LA PAZ , Bolivia. — The president Evo Morales, in a press conference at Palacio Quemado in La Paz, said that Lobo emerged from a dictatorial regime in Honduras.

President Evo Morales yesterday asked the organizing committee of the Sixth Summit of Heads of State and Government of EU-LAC exclude Honduras’ president, Porfirio Lobo, because he is product of a coup d’État.

"We want to participate if is not the President of Honduras. Brazil has said it will not participate if Lobo is at the Summit.”
Morales recalled that at the last summit in Cancun, Mexico, Heads of State and Government rejected and ignored the election of Porfirio Lobo as President of Honduras because the electoral process where he was elected was branded as illegal.
