POTOSI, Bolivia .— President Evo Morales said Wednesday that the government of Chile sought only "wasting time" in the five years of bilateral dialogue to address Bolivia's maritime claim.

"I want to be very frank with all of you. In the five years of dialogue, I have realized that Chile just want to waste time."

"It's been 132 years of dialogue, without results."

Bolivia calls for a corridor to the Pacific ocean since it lost its coast after the Pacific War in 1879.

Morales made the closest approach to Chile during the Presidency of Michelle Bachelet and Morales said he decided to sue to Chile in the absence of Santiago’s proposals.
