Prosecutors requested the arrest of Samuel Doria Medina

ARRESTED • The prosecution called today for the arrest of cement businessman and head of the political party Unidad Nacional(UN), Samuel Doria Medina, in the case of National Cement Factory Company (Fancesa).

The District Attorney of Chuquisaca, Weimar Guzman reported that the The prosecution office charged to Doria Medina for allegedly damaging the State contract.

Doria Medina opposition to the government of Evo Morales, along with others (Jaime Barrón, Jaime Robles and Walter Arízaga.) involved in the case, allegedly caused financial damage to the state after participating with the Sociedad Boliviana de Cemento (Soboce) in the partial privatization of Fancesa.

The prosecution wants the judicial authorities to order the arrest of a businessman, while carrying forward the process of economic harm to the State.
