Achacachi, 23 mayo. AN (Achacachi News). Juan Carlos Condori, a representative from Achacachi Bolivia was in the UK on Monday 14th. He spoke at PUBLIC MEETING Tuesday, May 15th (7.00 – 9.30 pm).
The Qulla people were key to the mobilizations that tumbled over Goni's Goverment. This is a rare opportunity to meet a Poncho Rojo in the UK, that were featured in the Unreported World documentary "Anarchy in the Andes", although the image they portrayed was very much a distorted view of what their community is.
Achacachi is the capital city of the Qulla world, in Omasuyos, La Paz, Bolivia.The legendary Q'alachaca Indigenous Headquarters is located south in Achacachi, where the Qullas receive military training and plan their mobilizations. The Qulla method of warfare is nothing new, but has existed for millennia.
