ACHACACHI, Bolivia .— Secretary Achacolla visited Achacachi to give seeds of potatoes to the peasants of the different communities that surround this town..

After a drought that ruined the crop of potatoes in the central Andean land the Bolivian Government through his Secretary of Development, Nemesia Achacollo, gave seeds to begin the sowing and this way to recover the crop of the following year.

Secretary Nemesia Achacollo was welcomed by Achacachi’s mayor Dn. Constancio Gutiérrez and after he gave a gift—red poncho and cap—to the Secretary, began the delivery of potato seeds.

The peasants loaded their trucks with the donated seed without before to give thanks to the government of Dn. Juan Evo Morales Ayma.
