Six months: Evo admits shortcomings and requests adjustments in his government

EVALUATION • The president met with his cabinet in Huatajata, near Intikjarka lake, to evaluate half year government. The Executive, during an evaluation meeting in the town of Huatajata in the department of La Paz, yesterday admitted weaknesses in the government and President Evo Morales identified the National Police as the institution of the most critical and must change.

HUATAJATA, Bolivia.— The institution of the most criticized by the government was the National Police, of which the presidente Evo Morales said that police was involved in smuggling, drug trafficking and crime.

"There are some state institutions that must change, the information we have received in recent months is dramatic. Some police officers are the subject of smuggling, drug trafficking and security issues, "said the President during a press conference in Huatajata.
Also he said that the difficulties are related to the implementation of capital budget of ministries, decentralized institutions and state enterprises.

However the president ruled out changes in the structure of the Executive.
