Aida Robles Paraguayan congresswoman who opposes to give Bolivian governor Cossío a refuge in Paraguay renounces to National Refugee Commission

RESIGN • Aida Robles Deputy representative of the Chamber of Deputies in the National Commission for Refugees (CONARE) resigned to it alleging that she does not have time and she became under pressure in recent days.

ASUNCION, Paraguay .— CONARE must answer on the request for refuge in Paraguay by the former Bolivian governor of Tarija, Mario Cossio.

Governor is indicted in the neighboring country of Bolivia for acts of corruption.

The Bolivian politician denounced that he is pursued by the government of President Evo Morales and argued that charges against him are false and seek only to eliminate as a politician.

CONARE must decide tomorrow Tuesday if it gives refuge to Gov. of Tarija Mario Cossio or not. Cossio, who is in Asunción since 22 December, argued that a "political persecuted" and therefore sought refuge.
