Driver accused of raping two girls in a community of Caranavi was burned

BURNED • A driver, not yet identified, charged with raping two girls, was burned today by an angry crowd of residents from at least three communities in the province Caranavi of department of La Paz, reported by the witnesses of the event to broadcast network ERBOL .

CARANAVI, Bolivia .— A couple of people in telephone communication with Erbol, reported that a truck driver was burned in San Antonio community, where about 600 people gathered from the surrounding areas.

The driver before he died, amid desperate pleas and cries, allegedly confessed to kidnapping last Friday night the girls from another community in the same province and took them to rape in the mountain, where he retained them three days.

According to the testimony of witnesses, who asked not be identified, the subject was captured by the mob in the morning and burned past noon of the day in front of all the angry residents of the communities mentioned.
