Documents about Bolivian October slaughter were destroyed


SLAUGHTER • Bolivian prosecutors alleged Thursday that former Armed Forces authorities destroyed documents related to the so-called October Slaughter (2003), when the government of Gonzalo Sánchez de Lozada killed 68 people.

LA PAZ, Bolivia. — According to the prosecutor Milton Mendoza, who had access to classified files, much of the intelligence information and reports disappeared.
