UNODC's Executive Director Yury Fedotov highlights the "close cooperation" with Bolivia in combating drugs

DRUG TRAFFICKING • The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime’s (UNODC) Executive Director Yury Fedotov highlights the "very close relationship" that has his Office with Bolivia government combating drug trafficking.

PARIS, France .— UNODC's Executive Director, Yury Fedotov said that:

"We are cooperating closely with the Bolivian authorities" through "concrete actions".

This statement was made to the media, as reports AFP, during the G8 ministerial meeting on "The transatlantic route of cocaine" in which participated representatives from Latin America.

He said also that the UNODC "is determined to continue working in Bolivia.".
