LEADERS WILL GIVE BACK ARMS, BUT NOT FALs

Achacachi, 25 January. AN (Achacachi News). The leaders of the region of Achacachi, especially of the town of Warisata mobilized themselves to give back the arms of Qulla (Colla) Army Ponchos Rojos that showed last parade. The leaders brought seven german Mauser guns which they arranged to give back to the Bolivian Army or to the National Police. The leaders of the region said that already they spoke with the Commander of the Army general Bersatti to do so and in return he told them that they could be helped by the State trough its institutions with their Engineer company for building local roads.

But the leaders of the region firmly said that they did not give back M14 rifles, neither the M16Armalite or the Kalashnikov, even worse, they said that will never give back the Belgian FALs, that including the Vice-president of Bolivia, had it under his poncho, as he himself said in Warisata in September, 20 of the 2006.

DIRIGENTES DEVOLVERÁN ARMAS, PERO NO LOS FAL

Achacachi, 25 enero. AN (Achacachi News). Los dirigentes de la región de Achacachi, especialmente de la zona de Warisata se movilizaron para devolver las armas del Ejercito Qulla de Defensa de la Integridad boliviana Ponchos Rojos que mostraron en el último desfile pasado.

Los dirigentes trajeron siete fusiles alemanes Mauser. Los cuales están dispuestos a entregar ya sea al Ejército boliviano o a la Policía Nacional.

Los dirigentes de la región sin temor a las instituciones citadas dijeron que ya hablaron con el Comandante del Ejército el general Bersatti para que estas instituciones les ayuden con su Compañía de Ingenieros para la construcción de caminos vecinales y de ingenieros agrónomos para el campo agropecuario.

Pero los dirigentes de la región, también, afirmaron que por ahora no entregaran los rifles M14, ni los M16, peor, ni piensan desarmarse de los Armalite o los Kalashnikov que los Ponchos Rojos utilizan con fines especiales o los FAL belgas, que inclusive el Vicepresidente de Bolivia tuvo bajo el poncho, como él mismo dijo en Warisata en 20 de septiembre del 2006.

PRESIDENT OF BOLIVIA DN. JUAN EVO MORALES AYMA ARRIVED AT ACHACACHI

Achacachi, 23 January. AN (Achacachi News).Today 23 of January anniversary of the city of Achacachi to 11:30 hours arrived at this town the Constitucional president of Bolivia Dn. Juan Evo Morales Ayma to render a tribute to 181th anniversary of the Omasuyos Province.

He received the greeting of the Eighth regiment of Sucre Infantry Mariscal of Ayacucho and of the Jilacatas (mayors) of the bordering communities and by the mayor of the Achacachi city: Lic. Eugene Rojas.

Arrived on board from his helicopter at the airport from the city at 2 km of distance of the city. It emphasized the music of the Moseñada, the clothes of the Jilacatas and the Qulla (Colla) militia called “Ponchos Rojos” to defend national integrity.

He spoke about the schools and its equipment with computers and connection to Internet. The president emphasized the necessity to install a milk processor, because the region produces a lot of milk.

Also, He inaugurated the 9th radio broadcasting station “Patria Nueva” which is the official voice of the national Government. Attended the act, as well, the cantonal agents and the old leader of the region: Felipe Quispe.

The president left the town at 4:30PM.

Achacachi, 23 enero. AN (Achacachi News). Hoy día 23 de enero aniversario de la ciudad de Achacachi a horas 11:30 llego a ésta el presidente Constitucional de la Republica de Bolivia Dn. Juan Evo Morales Ayma para rendir un homenaje al 181vo aniversario de la Provincia Omasuyos.

Recibió el saludo del regimiento Octavo de Infantería Sucre Mariscal de Ayacucho y de los Jilacatas de las comunidades aledañas y por el alcalde del la misma ciudad: Lic. Eugenio Rojas.

Llegó a bordo de su helicóptero al aeropuerto de la ciudad a 2 Km de distancia de la ciudad de Achacachi.

Destacó la música de la Moseñada, las vestimentas de los Jilacatas y del ejercito Qulla (Colla) los Ponchos Rojos para defender la integridad nacional.

Hablo de los colegios y su equipamiento con computadoras y conexión a Internet. Subrayó la necesidad de instalar una procesadora de lácteos, porque la región es productora de leche. También inauguró la novena radio estación “Patria Nueva” que es la voz oficial del Gobierno nacional.

Asistieron también al acto los agentes cantonales, el presidente de las juntas vecinales de la ciudad del Alto y el antiguo líder de la región Felipe Quispe.
